We expect people are looking for some good news about the weather for the remaining weeks of July. Sorry to disappoint. Our weather guru ( no NOT Environment Canada !) isn’t giving us much hope for any real warmth until the first week of Aug.
Here’s Brett’s predictions for our area:
For July 20-26: …Cooler compared to normal across most of Atlantic Canada; rainfall above-normal.
July 27-Aug 2: Cooler compared to normal from Quebec through most of Atlantic Canada. Rainfall near normal, but above normal in Newfoundland.
Aug 3-9th: Temperatures close to normal in the Northeast U.S. into the Maritimes, but it could be a wetter week.
–Slightly cooler than normal in Quebec.
–Temperatures near normal in Newfoundland, with near-normal rainfall.
